On Winners and Losers

Kevin, It is 5:30 AM in Geneva and I have just started my day by reading your wonderful piece. I am inspired by it. Thank you for providing such a thoughtful commentary putting the current conditions in a wider context, society. And a narrower context, of my responsibilities to the education I am providing to my children. Not to mention my responsibilities in business… Now, I am off in search of an Int. Herald Tribune accompanied by a good croissant and coffee. But thanks for providing the best read of the day.
-
I think this is your best effort that I have read here… Keep up the good work old son.
-
Fascinating! Not only does your article leave me pondering the state of our education system and overall social dynamic, it also makes me feel a lot better about being a "jack of all trades." Thanks for sharing it.
-
Glad to know that you have not been slapped, at least literally, since kindergarten....
-
Nicely done article Kevin. Very well written. It does stray from the reservation a bunch…
-
Thank you for stating the truth and saying like it is and I hope that you are not discouraged , because there are many folks that I know who believe in a gentle revolution that is going to bring about a change that will last.
On The Indonesia Factor
-
Nice piece Kevin. Thanks for your efforts in researching it!
-
Wow, now that's a comprehensive overview of "the Indonesia factor." Great history. I read every word.
-
Excellent! I am going to forward this to a few associates who have invested in SA but do not follow the story closely, so they will have a clear picture as to what is going on. Well done. Thanks.
-
Great reporting and writing Kevin. Keep up your good work. I appreciate all your efforts and kind generosity to share your knowledge and observations.
On Fire in the Hole
- Kevin, I think it is great idea to revamp the whole system , the time is right for a network of companies and investors to join together and setup their own transparent exchange, just need a secure server, a board of directors that is composed of half company half investor and some technicians (and our own army with an intelligence team to protect us from "the establishment") and we’re off! Yes I know I'm dreaming again but I would support such an effort with some capital and expertise in setting things up. Keep stirring the pot with good articles.

I just wanted you to know the information you are putting on your site is outstanding. I come to your site every day just to make sure I don't miss anything new coming from you. Thanks again.
-
I have a ridiculous amount of free tools to play with. To get any true value out of these I have to spend a silly amount of time bouncing around from company websites, past news releases, Sedar etc. It becomes a second job. Too hard to live outside of this and regular work. The idea for this site could be better than great for investors. It has potential to become a favoured tool in my honest opinion.
-
Well done and complete. Keep up the good work.
-
Kevin, I have just visited your website. I see nothing but success for this creation of yours. Your mastery of the English language, that is to say, vocabulary and grammar is outstanding. I am sure that you will agree that these are areas that can be learned and in which there are many who are your equal. What separates you from the crowd is that you do not try to impress with ten dollar words. Each word, each phrase has a purpose and the reader is left with a clear and unobstructed picture of what you are portraying. You inject humour and often introduce some personal and family information bringing you closer to the reader. These elements make you a very easy and comfortable read. I am neither a geologist nor am I omniscient of the wonderful world of investing. I would presume that the majority of investors are as myself.......eager but unlearned. Due diligence sounds great but when you are at the ABC's stage of investing, just what does it mean and what does it entail? This is just one question asked by many in the beginning. Your way of explaining issues using an analogy or should I say parable make things easier to learn. To me, vocabulary and grammar mean nothing if the subject wasn't communicated successfully. This is where I feel your strength lies......communication. Your cool, even-tempered manner along with your quiet confidence and unassuming manner has amassed for you a sizeable following. If word of mouth is indeed the best form of advertising then I think that your website is going to have more hits than Barry Bonds on a double dose of steroids. Due to you I am learning more quickly about due diligence and the intangibles. I will not presume to make any suggestions to you for improvement......not at this point anyway. As Mozart would say......"How can one improve on something that's already perfect? It's the best report yet written." LOL

I enjoy visiting your very informative website!
-
Hello Kevin. Thank you so much for being a calm voice in a sea of chaos. Keep well my friend because you are a treasure. God's abundant blessings to you and yours. With much respect and gratitude.
-
Enjoy your web site... Thanks for all your DD.
-
What a great resource you have supplied here Kevin.
-
First of all let me commend you on a nice clean interface to your website. While I have only begun to explore its contents you appear to have included some very interesting content/tools for novice investors (perhaps that should read gamblers) of the junior mining fraternity.
-
I can never thank you enough for the work you and others do and for the information that is shared with all. I would like to visit with you more and get to know you better but will close for now. Thanks again.
-
Pebble in a pond was excellent. Well done. Cheers!
-
Thank you for sharing your work.
-
Hi, Kevin. I just wanted to thank you for honest and intellectual posts. It’s because of your commitment, and belief in SA that I initiated my dd. I’ve only purchased 20000 shares to date but hope to accumulate a lot more in the very near future. Thank you again for your tremendous commitment…
-
Hi Kevin,
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your site. I’ve been busy plugging the latest figures into your calculator and it’s great to get an idea as to how good each hole is... Thank you. Keep up the great work! -
Thanks again Kevin, I can't tell you how much I am learning from you. I hope you continue to enjoy what you are doing with this site.
-
Excellent site! Good job Kevin!
-
Great site and tools!
-
Very interesting reading... Thx
-
I really enjoy reading your reports. Kevin I look forward to your future reports and information. Thanks.
-
Interesting article. I own RES but never had the chance to evaluate the way you did it.
-
I appreciate the article on RES.V. I was at one time President of a company that spent a lot of time exploring in Wyoming (never in the North East) and never found a nugget. You say you are not a geologist, but you sound as if you know a lot about rocks. I trade PM stocks and I am going to add RES.V to my longer term list. Thanks for your site. Good luck.
-
You have the beginnings of a rather helpful site for junior explorer stocks.
-
Well done Kevin ! It is a good site for some credible facts and information. Congratulations.
-
Thank you.
-
I really enjoyed how you embedded the videos in your Pediment article. I wish more of the newsletter writers would use that technique, it really adds a great deal. All the best to you.
-
This is really great.
-
Hey Kevin: I just read a few of your blurbs and the one re the newsletter writers and people not willing to do their own "thinking". I LOVED this piece. You are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work.
-
Your analytics website is great, wish you good luck and success!
- Best of luck! You're off to a great start, that's for sure. I have a suggestion for an article for your site, something along the lines of "What Really Goes on in the Lab." I for one would be interested in learning about the lab assay process, in detail. What are they looking for? How do they look for those things? What sort of checks and balances are in place to protect against fraud in the assay process? How about some pictures of a working lab? An interview with a lab tech?
On Surveying Mining Companies Online in Support of Due Diligence
-
Think of what the research dept’s at brokerage houses would pay for that?!
-
Great job on the revolution……
-
If you can make this work, it will blow the market away.
-
Now I see what you're up to--very impressive. That's a fantastic idea; when it picks up steam it will push most of the shysters and shell companies to the sidelines, if not out of the game altogether. Go for it!
-
… a really good idea.
-
I think you have developed a novel idea and look forward to reading your posts and comments on potential juniors. I find your views very unbiased and you add intelligent comments that get us all on track and thinking along the same line (making money) as well as securing confidence in our investments via intelligence gathering. I appreciate your hard work in DD – look forward to the surveys.
-
Concept is brilliant! People will pay.
-
It will be worth a fortune… This is awesome… very cool.
-
Excellent job, I can see your expertise shining through…
-
Excellent work Kevin! I read through the Rare Element report and it looks great. I agree this has the potential to revolutionize how we invest in the Venture. Today it is an overwhelming task simply to identify juniors that warrant research. If all the juniors were summarized in the same simple format that you have for Rare Element…WOW!
-
Yeah great idea!
I've never heard of this idea before but it sounds interesting. I watch a heap of Canadian stocks; would you consider sending down here? Lihir gold would be a good one to compare or even BHP might reply to you??? Things in the Down under are great! Just as unpredictable as the rest of the world! But some great buying opportunities out there. -
Hello Kevin, Great idea for the online survey!
-
This would be powerful. I would pay.
-
Your site is first rate. Writing is clear concise and powerful. Good Work! Please send your survey to Highbank Resources Ltd. Howe street Vancouver. 75,000,000 tons of prime gravel. See if they have enough guts (or sense) to complete it.
-
Kevin, Sounds like you have your head screwed on straight about this. It will be interesting to see how the information comes together. I'd love you to be successful beyond your wildest dreams since that will demonstrate it is possible to have an investor service that does not rely in some part on company sponsorship. Please keep me informed of your progress.
- Thanks for the report on Animas.
On plans for Insider Trading Summary Reports
-
Thanks so very much for creating this website. I fully appreciate your efforts to keep others informed of the market. Your work on the insider trading will be a great help to me. I'm a layman and I've looked at the SEDI site in the past but was unable to fully glean the pure essence of their stats. I look forward to your work to simplify things and serve up just the meat and potatoes of their site.
-
Kevin, you are my hero, you are the best. Your web site makes a very difficult and risky task investing in the junior resource sector a lot easier.
-
Great idea Kevin and quite generous on your part.
-
Good Idea--SEDI is a bit of a nightmare to read and fully understand and you will have synthesised the information.
-
Sounds great.. can't wait.
-
Well done! Makes perfect sense to me. This will save me a lot of time and effort, so that I can spend more time with my leisure activities!
-
Kevin, I think it's a real good idea and I for one would be interested in the results.
-
GOOD IDEA! I agree that SEDI can be cumbersome to view at times - especially when insider trades add up! I have visited canadianinsider.com as well - but they only provide recent filings. It would be great to get an overall picture / snapshot of exactly what you have described! Hope it works out well.
-
Excellent, I look forward to seeing the reports!
-
Great idea Kevin, thanks for all your effort and hard work.
-
I think it is a great idea. I agree with you when you say SEDI can be cumbersome and time consuming.
-
More than a good idea. Excellent! SEDI information may be valuable but the usability of SEDI makes that information unattainable to many investors.
