This is a simplified tool by which to calculate the metal volume and value of an ore body. All you need to input (in the blue cells) are values for: estimated tonnage of ore; grades of metal; prices of metal (or if you prefer, what value you think the majors are paying explorers per ounce or pound of metal); number of shares (fully diluted) and the US/CDN exchange rate. The form will then automatically calculate values per tonne of ore, metal volume and respective total values, along with the value per share in Canadian dollars. Once you’ve keyed the final input, you’ll need to click off of that cell for the form to be updated.
I’ll be pleased to have your feedback on this tool. See the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page to reach me directly.
